Gurudev” founder of Chinmaya Mission

Chinmaya Mission was founded in 1953 by devotees of Swami Chinmayananda in India that now encompasses a wide range of spiritual, educational and charitable activities, now headed by Swami Swaroopananda Ji. The Mission was headed by Swami Tejomayananda ji From 1993 to 2017. The Mission is administered by Central Chinmaya Mission Trust Mumbai, With an aim of providing individuals, the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, a Global Organization with 320 Centers, 55 temples, 15 Ashrams, and over 320 full time Acharyas round the world engaged in spiritual, educational and social services

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

  • We greet each other with the word “Hari Om”.
  • This is to see the divinity inherent in each one of us.
  • The school was taken over by Chinmaya Mission Jamshedpur from Tata Steel in April 2001.
  • The school is being run in the same pattern as all the Chinmaya Vidyalayas in the country.
  • When we took over the school from Tata Steel there were 17 rooms and classes till Std. V only. Now there are 44 rooms and classes are from Kg to Std XII.
